Simon Hu is an econopolitical accounting theorist and the inventor of the new theories of triple-entry accounting, GC (going concern) rating and GC political economics that would collectively define a new form of national political economy to represent the economic interests of four competing stakeholders (voters, businesses, investors and the government) subject to a common terminal event, such as national fiscal insolvency or a global nuclear war.

Prior to his independent accounting research, Mr. Hu was a rating agency executive, having worked in Greater New York, London, Hong Kong and Singapore for more than fifteen years. He was born in Shanghai, China.
